How can I claim employment allowance through xero



 

This article is for small businesses who use Xero. Choose your payroll bank account and account codes where you'll record your payroll expenditure and liabilities. Xero records your payroll transactions in the general ledger making it easier to reconcile your payroll. You can use the default Xero liability and expense accounts or choose your own.

On the Organisation tab, select your payroll accounts. If the account you're looking for isn't available, add it to your chart of accounts or bank accounts.

I have made payment to HMRC for PAYE month 1. This didnt included a deduction of £ per P We claimed employment allowance last year via our accountant. Can this be done via Xero I assume it can be done if you use Xero Payroll.
